Ficus Alii Braid 10"

The Ficus Alii Braid brings tropical elegance to any indoor space. This striking ornamental tree features slender, willow-like dark green leaves arranged on multiple trunks that are skillfully braided together for visual interest. Native to Southeast Asia and India, the Alii fig is more resilient than similar varieties, tolerating typical home conditions without excessive leaf drop.

Expect mature heights of 5 to 8 feet indoors, with potential to reach 10 feet under ideal light and care. Its sculptural form makes it a statement piece for living rooms, offices, or bright corners. The name "Alii" means "King" in Hawaiian, reflecting its status as a premium indoor plant.

Note: Contains milky latex sap that may irritate skin. Handle with care and keep away from pets and children who may be sensitive to the sap.

Light: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight (such as near an east- or north-facing window, or filtered light through a sheer curtain). It can tolerate lower light, though growth will slow and leaves may thin. Watering: Water when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil feel dry. Ensure the pot has good drainage holes so the roots do not sit in standing water, which causes root rot.
